Online revenue for Indies

There’s a new kid in town, well, almost: SnagFilms. SnagFilms is an online service which aims to help filmmakers generate income with their films online. No real details have emerged, but I heard the following interesting bit of information:

I read this quote in MovieMaker magazine No. 74, and I would like your opinions in the comments:
“The real threat to an independent filmmaker is not piracy, it’s anonymity.” (p.54)
