The blackout (our blog was blacked out for all of the 23rd February, NZ time) seems to have had an effect. According to the New Zealand Herald (amonst others) the controvercial law (basically stating that ISPs have to disconnect internet service to customers who are alleged with sharing copyright protected content) has been delayed until 27 March. If no resolution is found by then, it will be suspended.
