Independent Film Week

IndieGoGo is giving away tickets to the IFC Filmmaker Conference in New York City this September. If you are there, you shouldn’t miss it – it is well worth attending. And if you still need tickets… see if you can win them here.

This panel looks particularly interesting: The State of Distribution – the current and future Indie Model.

Competition Now Open

You can get a chance to walk the red carpet at the London Film Festival in October (and win a bunch of other prizes) by entering this competition. This is what it’s about:

The competition is open for people interested in filming a 90-second advertisement on behalf of a participating brand. This gives everyone from creatives to everyday consumers a unique platform to let their voices be heard. This competition opens up opportunities for contest participants to gain visibility in front of 120,000 festival attendees, top global brands and more than 10 million people worldwide via the web.

MOFILM and its partners will be offering more than $200,000 in prizes and an opportunity to “walk the red carpet” with celebrities and leaders in the film community at the 53rd Times London Film Festival. The overall winning advertisement will also be played prior to the MOFILM Premiere evening at the Festival.
